Day 1: Drive from Kigali to Congo – Virunga National Park

Arrive at Kigali International Airport not beyond 12pm but we can as well pick you from the hotel in Kigali if you arrived the previous day and transfer to Goma Congo crossing at Goma boarder. You enjoy amazing views of undulating hills of Rwanda and Lake Kivu en route

Day 2:  Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Virunga National Park

Settle for breakfast and gather at Bukima station for briefing about the Gorilla trek starting at 8am. From briefing, you head to the forest in the company of armed park ranger guides in search of the Mountain Gorillas that are known to be critically endangered world over.  The gorilla trek lasts 2 – 8 hours but one full hour of actual gorilla viewing experience, exploring them as they forage and socialize while taking great photos.   From the activity, transfer back to Gisenyi / Kigali to mark the end of the safari.
